We Have Seniors! {Arkansas senior pictures / Missouri senior pictures}
Posted on June 15, 2011
We officially have seniors in the house… our own seniors. Nicole’s daughter, Tracie, and Cheryl’s daughter, Lindsay are both part of the Class of 2012. Exciting year for all of us as these beautiful girls finish out their high school memories and make plans for making their own footprints in the world. And, of course, kind of sad at the same time. All you Moms of seniors understand. We wanted to blog a few of their senior portraits. Tracie has had two senior portrait sessions so far, but the weather has been not so nice to Lindsay. Seems like when we have an open time slot the weather takes a turn for the worst. Hopefully in the next few weeks we can get in at least one outdoor sessions for Lindsay Here are a few of our favorites of both so far…
Tracie

Lindsay

We love you girls – can’t wait to share your Senior years!

T.J., THS Class of 2012 {Tuckerman senior pictures}
Posted on June 14, 2011

T.J. is a senior at Tuckerman High School, home of the Bulldogs. I think we must have picked one of the hottest Saturdays so far this year for his session. Whew was it hot! But despite the heat and humidity, we had a fun morning getting to know T.J. Thanks for letting us capture your senior memories, T.J. ~ Cheryl and Nicole

Easton & Gracee {Family portraits in the park}
Posted on June 14, 2011
This blog post tells the tale… we have neglected the blog. We met Amee and Johnny in the park Easter weekend to photograph Easton’s nine month sessions. In just a couple of weeks he will be the Big 1! So we thought we had better catch up and blog his nine month session, and include his big sister, Gracee. They are so cute… and it will be so fun to watch them grow up. Here are some of our faves from their session…

Aurora {Arkansas and Missouri Baby Photographer}
Posted on June 14, 2011
The blog has been soooo neglected. It’s hard to believe that it was Easter when we photographed this little cutie. Aurora was ready to cheese it up for the camera for her first Easter portraits. We thought it was time to blog her session with our favorites…

Maggie & Kris {Engagement session Heber Springs}
Posted on June 14, 2011
True to form, our crazy Arkansas weather necessitated a reschedule date from our original plan to photograph Maggie & Kris’s engagement session. But, luckily last weekend the weather cooperated and we beat the heat with an early morning session. We started at Collin Creek in Heber Springs before heading to the downtown area to search for other cool locations. All in all, they did a great job picking Collin Creek – beautiful scenery, complete with a waterfall! Once we were downtown, there were so many options for backdrops. But the threat of afternoon heat and humidity won and we finally just had to stop. Our cameras loved Maggie and Kris – super cute and sweet couple. Here are some of our favorites:

Thanks for spending your Sunday morning with us! See you on wedding day! ~ Cheryl

We are planning a wedding! {Garvin Gardens wedding}
Posted on May 25, 2011
My daughter, Brittany, is officially engaged!!!!!

We are accustomed to wedding days and brides. It all seems second nature. I photographed my first wedding… well… let’s just say hair bands were still “in” when I photographed my first wedding. In a typical year most of our weekends are occupied with wedding days. Now that Brittany is engaged we are in full “wedding planning mode”. She’s been planning her dream wedding for years. She has “the Monica book”. Any Friends fans out there… you know what a Monica book is! But when I try to think of all the details we have to handle, you would think I had never been involved in anyone’s wedding day.
The date is set… August 11, 2012. Thank God for over a year to plan! The venue is set… Anthony Chapel at Garvin Gardens. But there are literally hundreds of other details, and options, and plans, and decisions. Lord, I have a whole new appreciation for our brides! It’s exciting, but scary at the same time, overwhelming at times, and work! I’m going to try to soak up every memory of it, because she’s my baby and it is so very exciting. And two words will get us through it all…. Wedding Planner! But I promise now I understand when a bride forgets to return my email… or lets it slip her mind to email back the wedding worksheet… or whatever other kinds of dysfunction can happen. Because now I realize all the other hundreds of details you are trying to keep track of. LOL I may have to reach out to our network of brides for advice in this process – 911!
This is a special day for our family, and I know in the end it will all come together… wedding days always do. And, we get to officially bring Alex into our family… even though he’s really already been here for six years. Let the wedding planning begin! – Cheryl

Fran & Duane, Wedding at Park on the River {Arkansas Wedding Photographer}
Posted on May 25, 2011

A few weeks ago Nicole and I photographed Fran and Duane’s beautiful wedding at Park on the River in Maumelle. This was a fun wedding day with a couple that you can tell are so much in love. Her face absolutely lit up when she saw him for the first time. Fran was a stunning bride on wedding day, and I thought a blog post of just her bridal portraits was called for. We will blog about the wedding in a separate post.
